This page contains links to the Emergency Management and Business Continuity Training Courses that are provided, through NORMIT, by the Emergency Planning Unit of Norfolk County Council.
NORMIT can also offer tailored training for your organisations' particular needs - all at a substantial discount for NORMIT members.
All courses listed are also available to non-NORMIT members.
We are pleased to announce that several of the NORMIT courses (as indicated with an * below) have been content approved by the Business Continuity Institute. (BCI). Delegates on these courses are entitled to receive one year's free Affiliate Membership of the BCI.
Discounts are offered on some courses to members of the Emergency Planning Society (EPS) and the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

Course Dates
We publish the training calendar well in advance of the course dates. However, if you want us to deliver one of the standard courses to a number of staff from your organisation we can make additional dates available.
Tailored Training

Crisis Command Game
The Crisis Command Game is a free download. It is an Emergency Exercise that has been designed to be used by youth groups and schools to promote Emergency Awareness. The activity has been designed for groups of up to 30 youngsters. It lasts for up to two hours and is suitable for ages 10 and over. Full instructions and guidance is available on the download version of Crisis Command.

NORMIT has been working in partnership to provide information on Business Continuity Management to the Young Enterprise companies in Norfolk.
