Description
Current best practice in Emergency Management adopts a Risk Management approach in the management of hazards threatening businesses and communities. This course provides the foundation for developing emergency risk treatment strategies within organisations and has been designed as the basis for all courses offered by NORMIT.

Duration
The duration of the course is one day and runs from 0900hrs to 1700hrs.
Guidance for Attendance
This course is appropriate for all who work in Emergency Management and Business Continuity as it gives the essential background skills and knowledge for this field. If you are involved with developing plans, conducting training, running exercises, or managing the response to, or recovery from, an emergency this course is for you.
EPS and BCI Membership
This course has been endorsed by the Emergency Planning Society (EPS) and content approved by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). Delegates who attend this course are entitled to 12 months free EPS and BCI Affiliate Membership and can claim up to 3 CPD points with the Emergency Planning Society.
