EMERGENCIES ON TRIAL
Dates
12 March 2008
10 March 2009
Description
Britain is now a litigious society and there is an increasing risk that any
manager, employee or technical expert will be called to account for their actions
and their organisations response, or to give their advice, to a public enquiry
or a court case for damages. Often the poor presentation of witnesses under
cross-examination can let the witness and their organisation down.
Through interactive training an understanding of the processes occurring in such an inquiry can be developed to prepare and present a fair and good account of any situation. This training has been most popular in the past. It is amusing, entertaining and may ultimately save considerable embarrassment.
Bond Solon of London, the leaders in Witness Training and the only company in the UK to be accredited by the Law Society for training witnesses will conduct this interactive Workshop.
Aim
Delegates will learn of responsibilities and accountability in legal hearings
and develop skills to give effective evidence at any legal hearing.

- What are the types of court / inquiry you may have to account to?
- What are the roles and responsibilities of those involved?
- Techniques lawyers use in cross-examination and how to handle them.

- Giving confident clear testimony under cross-examination.
