Description
Any organisation may be disrupted by an emergency whether it originates on their
premises or comes from off site. The ability of an organisation to cope will
depend to a large extent on the emergency management skills and knowledge of
its staff and the planning, training and exercising that has taken place. This
course will develop the expertise to coordinate preparedness and manage the
response to an emergency.
Aim
To enhance delegates knowledge and skills in implementing Emergency Risk Treatment
Strategies for their organisation.

Duration
The duration of the course
is one day and runs from 0900hrs to 1700hrs
Guidance for Attendance
This course is designed for those who are required to work in, or manage, Emergency
Operation Centres. It is also appropriate for those who coordinate the training
and development of staff who work in Emergency Operation Centres. Delegates
are assumed to have background knowledge of Emergency Risk Management (as taught
on the Practical Emergency Risk Management course
